Course Information

 

The ZOOMA Colorado Half Marathon & 10K starts and finishes at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. ZOOMA Colorado includes a scenic course with mountain views on paved roads.

Aid Stations: ZOOMA Colorado Half Marathon course will include 8 aid stations with water and Ultima Replenisher electrolyte drink (grape flavor). ZOOMA Colorado 10K course will include 4 aid stations.

 

Packet Pickup Schedule

Please pick up your packet at one of the following locations. NOTE: There is no race day packet pickup.

Mailed Packet Option: Before July 4, you can choose to have your packet mailed to you for $20 during the week before the race. Choose this option during registration, or send a check for $20 with your registration confirmation number to:

Your Finish Time

You will receive an IPICO timing chip at packet pickup that corresponds with your bib number. Wear the timing chip on your running shoe, and be sure to return it to race volunteers after you cross the finish line.  The timing chip will allow your exact finishing time to be calculated. Results will be posted at the event site on race day and will be posted on site at the After-Party Expo and to the ZOOMA website by 4 p.m. on race day.

 

Pace Team

 

ZOOMA Colorado participants can run with the GOTR Denver Pace Team! 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 minute mile pacers will be on hand to help you meet your goals. Look for signs at the start line to locate your pace team leader.

 Awards

Non-cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the Half Marathon and 10K and the top three teams in the Half Marathon Relay.

The top three finishers in each age group will be recognized at the awards ceremonies for the half marathon & 10K race, and the first place female in each age group will receive a frameable certificate in the mail. Age group divisions include: 12 - 14; 15 - 19; 20 - 24; 25 - 29; 30 - 34; 35 - 39; 40 -44; 45 - 49; 50 - 54; 55 - 59; 60 - 64; 65 - 69; 70 - 74; 75 - 79; 80+

 

Finishers Gift

ALL half marathon, relay and 10K race finishers will receive a ZOOMA Colorado finishers’ necklace!

 

Volunteer

We are recruiting a team of dedicated volunteers to assist in helping each participant reach her goal!  Are you part of a charitable organization? We have volunteer fundraising opportunities for groups such as schools, clubs, churches and other not-for-profit organizations. Please contact us for more information.

 

Race Day Parking

Parking is available at The Broadmoor for $5 per vehicle. Be green and carpool!

 

Inline Skates, Strollers and Dogs Not Allowed On Course
For the safety of all participants, inline skates, strollers and dogs are not allowed on the course at any time

 

Course Time Limit
There is a 3.5 hour course limit to complete the half marathon race.
