Finish: Cheyenne Mountain Resort (3225 Broadmoor Valley Road, Colorado Springs, CO)
Majestic Pikes Peak is your backdrop as you take on a 10k or half-marathon in this jaw-dropping setting. Both courses start on quaint Tejon Street in downtown Colorado Springs, and wind through the prettiest parts of the city before taking to the hills. Nothing as intense as Pikes Peak, but you’ll feel your quads burn and your breath shorten in the thinner air as you get closer to the finish line.
You’ll happily greet the finish line at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort, which has a gorgeous view of the aptly-named Garden of the Gods. Rest and relax, drink in the view and some Barefoot Wine, and congratulate yourself on a race well run.
