The Girls on the Run® SoleMates program provides a great opportunity to give girls an example of healthy living. By joining Girls on the Run® SoleMates, you can play a vital role in ensuring the future success of Girls on the Run® programs that impact on the lives of thousands of young women every year.

 

What do I get for becoming a SoleMate?

 

Runners are supported every step of the way with exclusive premiums, effortless on-line fundraising and online support, progressive training plans, organized group runs led by certified coaches and race weekend VIP treatment. In addition, Girls on the Run of the Greater Chesapeake will host monthly educational sessions and social events exclusively for SoleMates runners to help you reach the finish line and have fun along the way!

 

How do I get started?

 

Registration for Girls on the Run® SoleMates is $26.00 and then members agree to raise a minimum of $262.00.

Girls on the Run®  of the Greater Chesapeake is a program for girls in grades 3-8 that uses the power of running to give girls the tools for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. The 10-week curriculum combines self-esteem enhancing life-lessons, discussions, and running games in an encouraging, girl-positive environment where girls can feel free to express themselves and build their confidence.

 

Girls on the Run®  of the Greater Chesapeake is a an Affiliate Council of Girls on the Run International and currently serves nearly 30 sites at schools throughout Anne Arundel County and Calvert County.
